The advantage of these reproductions lies in the length of the screw-in thread
The original housing, made of plastic, has a thread length of ~6mm,
whereas the reproduction now has a thread length of 12mm.
This allows a thicker door panel to be installed, as is common today.
Can also be used for the original "door panels"
