This radiator mounting kit is an OEM way of mounting the radiators on early vehicles.
The early vehicles had frames that were not of the same quality as today's modern frames and neither
the roads were less desirable and created a lot of body and frame flex and rotation. This style kit eliminated
Radiator damage from frame flex to a rigidly mounted radiator. In today's hot rod applications or
A range of mounting options are available for OEM installations. The rubber pad goes between the frame and the radiator mounting flange.
The spring can sit above the radiator support tab or below the lip of the frame. The screw and the corresponding
Washers go through the mounting hole and spring and are held in place by the included lock nut.
The nut is tightened enough to tension the spring to the desired extent, compressing the radiator
allow the spring to absorb the flexing or twisting of the frame.
